The ULTIMATE Foodie Day Out
Adelaide – Willunga – Adelaide
Saturday 3 May: 9am – 5pm
Wander. Taste. Discover. Sip.
This is one for the ladies.
The Green Gourmet is delighted to be part of Wanderlust Willunga’s Tasting Australia 2025 event.
Up to 10 guests can be part of a very special day out with Wanderlust Willunga. A luxury Mercedes minibus will collect you from Adelaide at 9am, with Willunga Farmers Market the first stop. Collect a handy calico market bag complete with a journal highlighting seasonal produce and special recipes to take home.
Sit down for a delicious breakfast, accompanied by a cuppa, then join a guided market tour and meet Andrea Ball from The Green Gourmet (that’s me!) – your next stop. She will host a fun, hands-on fermenting workshop accompanied by a two-course lunch and wines from Oliver’s Taranga.
A little retail therapy? Of course. After the workshop you’ll wander down the main street of picturesque Willunga, stopping at Kookery to collect foodie-related gifts chosen just for you. Make an afternoon coffee stop at Willa before visiting one of the region’s best cellar doors, Ortus, to hear from the winemaker herself and enjoy a tasting alongside delicious and locally sourced platters.
This is a fully hosted day out with all costs included – transport, all food, all beverages and little gifts – with nothing to pay on the day. A hassle-free good time with laughter guaranteed!
TO BOOK please visit the Tasting Australia website.
If you have a Green Gourmet gift voucher that you’d like to use towards your booking, please get in touch and I’ll explain how to do this. 😊🌿
Welcome to The Green Gourmet
We believe that good health and happiness begin in the kitchen.
Because what you choose to eat has one of the biggest influences on how you feel at every level.
Through workshops, cooking demos, deliciously healthy recipes and retreats, we want to help you rediscover the natural connection between food, health and joy.
We want everyone to enjoy food that tastes great, is good for you, supports local producers, saves money, and helps to reduce waste.
What we do
-
Interactive workshops
Our wholefood vegetarian cooking workshops reconnect you with local and seasonal producers and their produce and then get you into the kitchen to learn new ways of creating vibrant, energising food that your taste buds and your body and mind will love.
-
Recipe development
We love working with local producers, organisations and publishers to develop deliciously nourishing recipes that help to excite people about healthy eating, local and seasonal produce, food byproducts, specialty ingredients, and diverse food cultures.
-
Free cooking demos
We host regular cooking demonstrations (always with tastings!) with a focus on getting to know local farmers and their produce, and cooking affordable, nourishing meals. Each season, we cook the producer recipe developed for Fleurieu Living Magazine at the Willunga Farmers Market.
-
Retreats & other events
A retreat is the ideal way to immerse yourself in a relaxed setting with like-minded people and to begin an in-depth exploration of the connection between food, health and joy. Join me for a cooking workshop and dinner at one of Untamed Escapes South Australian retreats.

Willunga Farmers
Market cooking demo
It was fabulous to see many familiar and new faces at The Green Gourmet’s debut demo at the Willunga Farmers’ Market.
Thank you to everyone who came along – I hope you enjoyed the tastings, and most of all, felt inspired to get into your own kitchen and start cooking!
If you missed it, here’s a video from the day. You can also check out the two recipes I demonstrated on the day here – plus a bonus recipe for the Genius vegetable stock paste I was chatting about (it really is life-changing!).
