Fleurieu Food Festival: Vegetarian Winter Curry Feast – Sunday 20 August 2023
Willunga
11.00am – 3.00pm
Join our special Vegetarian Winter Curry Feast workshop as part of the 2023 Fleurieu Food Festival and celebrate the best of the region’s produce.
Everyone loves a good curry, and a feast of curries is an easy and generous way to nourish your family and friends, especially during winter.
You’ll be taken on a spice journey across Asia and learn to create a variety of curries, dhal and side dishes that are beautifully balanced, warming and full of flavour.
You'll also have fun trying your hand at making an Indian flatbread — it's so much easier than you'd imagine — and outrageously delicious!
All ingredients used in the workshop will be sourced from Fleurieu Peninsula growers, producers and suppliers, with fresh produce sourced exclusively from Willunga Farmers market.
We’ll include plenty of tastings of featured Fleurieu Peninsula produce, helping you to
discover new favourite ingredients.
And like all Green Gourmet workshops, we’ll end the afternoon with a deliciously healthy sweet treat.
Your workshop includes:
a mix of demonstration and hands-on cooking
lots of opportunities to chat and ask questions about wholefood cooking and nutrition
printed copy of all recipes and notes to take home
shared vegetarian lunch with a glass of local, natural wine.
